Paris Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2011 RECAP

I am finally writing about it !!! I know I have sort of not been writing as usually as I used to, but I will start posting at least once a day I promise I just have to get a shedule together. I can talk about that later, now on to the important subject Paris Fashion Week !!! I think PFW is really just the perfect balence between MFW, LFW, and  NYFW it just really says what is a definate trend and it just balences everything out. There has been so much colors in the other Fashion Weeks like MFW and NYFW, and now we come to PFW and its a tad bit darker more blacks and whites and just sort of evens everything out. The first collection I was raving about during PFW was Elie Saab !!!

 Traducciòn:Finalmente estoy escribiendo sobre ello !!! Se que no he estado escribiendo tanto como lo hacia antes, pero voy a empezar a hacer un post al menos una vez al día lo prometo empezando el lunes. Puedo hablar sobre esto mas tarde ahora a lo importante la Semana de la Moda de Paris !!! Creo que PFW es el balance perfecto entre MFW, LFW, y NYFW realmente define que va a ser tendencia y de verdad que balancea todo. Ha habido muchos colores en las otras semanas de la moda como MFW y NYFW, y ahora estamos en PFW y los colores son un poco mas oscuros hay mas negros y también hay blancos y como que balancea todo después de tantos colores. La primera colección que me encanto de PFW fue la colección de Elie Saab !!!

 Elie Saab

 

I truly did love this collection it was so simple and feminine. I didn’t really love the sort of plum color that he used, but all the other colors were great. I also loved the hand bags they were amazing, I have to say that my favorite outfit has to be the last one its just so perfect, and functional you could go to a billion places with that on you can put a sweater over it or a blazer there is just a million things that you could do with it. Not only is that outfit super functional really the whole collection is. You could see this collection as being sort of minimalistic, but if you use some layering it could become something totally different its really up to how you style, which is one of the reasons why I love it so !!!

Traducciòn: A mi realmente me encanto esta colección fue tan sencilla y femenina. No me gusto mucho el color ciruela que utilizó, pero todos los otros colores están súper. También me encantaron los bolsos de mano estaban increíbles, tengo que decir que mi outfit favorito tiene que ser el último es tan perfecto y funcional que podría ir a un billón de sitios con que el puesto te puedes poner un suéter por encima o de pronto un blazer hay un millón de cosas que se podrían hacer con él. No sólo es que la ropa sea súper funcional realmente toda lo colección lo es. Esta colección se puede ver un poco minimalista, pero si usas algunas capas podría convertirse en algo totalmente diferente es realmente cómo tu lo quieras estilizar, y esa es una de las razones por las que me encanta !!!

Hermès

 

As you can see there was lots of leather in this collection as it should be since it is Hermès, and although it didn’t reflect all of Hermès’ history as Jean Paul Gaultier did last year with the equestrian history and all, but you can still see a sort of heritage of the Hermès family. I have to confess that I love the boot/pant I think it’s so easy to put on, and it really looks great. I also love the way the white looks on the brown and how it looks with the lighter and different tones of the browns. It looks sort of nomadic, and I know that this collection is probably not every ones cup of tea, but I have to say I quite like it, the colors and I don’t know there is just a certain je nous se qua about the collection that I love.

Traducciòn:Como pueden ver hay un montón de cuero en esta colección como debe ser, ya que es de Hermès, y aunque no refleja toda la historia de Hermès como lo hizo Jean Paul Gaultier el año pasado a la historia hípica y todo, pero todavía podemos ver un poquito del patrimonio de la familia Hermès. Tengo que confesar que me encanta la bota/pantalón creo que es tan fácil de poner, y realmente se ve muy bien. También me encanta la forma en que se ve blanco sobre el café y cómo se ve con los tonos más ligeros y diferentes de los marrones. La colección en si se ve medio nomadica, y sé que esta colección no le va a encantar a todo el mundo, pero tengo que decir que me gusta bastante, los colores y yo no sé que tiene un cierto je nous qua que me encanta.

 Jean Paul Gaultier

 

 I do love this change in Jean Paul Gaultier's collection. This collection is refreshingly wearable, and although it sort of looks like the collection might be for an older woman and not really for the age of the models that were wearing the collection it still looked great. I love the layering and the fur and the leather gloves it is a really good collection. I mean you can buy things from the collection and you won’t look like a grandmother or anything, just because you have leather gloves doesn’t mean you are one, and those shawls with the fur around them really look great. You can style it in such a way where no one would even think that it could be worn by an older person, its really just up to you ;) 

Traducciòn: A mi me gusta este cambio en la colección de Jean Paul Gaultier. Esta colección es refrescante y muy usable, y aunque la colección parezca que pueda ser para una mujer mayor y no realmente para la edad de las modelos que la llevaban puesta, todavía se veían muy bien. Me encanta la estratificación y la piel y los guantes de cuero es una colección muy buena. Quiero decir que pueden comprar la ropa de la colección y no se verían como una abuela, sólo porque tienen guantes de cuero no quiere decir que son anticuadas o viejas, y los chales con la piel alrededor de ellos son lo mejor. Puede que lo usen de una manera en la que nadie se le ocurriría que podría ser usado por una persona mayor, eso realmente sólo depende de ti ;)

Lanvin

I loved the fact that the fashion show started out with really dark outfits with capes and low heel loafers and then it kept evolving until you ended up with like a couture party girl I just loved the change from the first look to the last one, it looked like the clothes actually evolved like it was Charles Darwin’s theory or something like that but that it applied to clothes. I have to say I did love the capes in this collection and I fell in love with the black lace tailored overcoat and the matching bodysuit ughhh it was PERFECT !!!! Lanvin is Lanvin, and I loved the collection that included both the craziness of colors that has been going around, but also had some black in it. Once again PFW is what balances everything out. 

Traducciòn: Me encantó el hecho de que el desfile comenzó con trajes muy oscuros, con capas y zapatos de tacón bajo y luego siguió evolucionando hasta que terminó con una chica fiestera que solo se pone alta costura me encantó el cambio del primer traje a el último, ósea parecía  como si la ropa realmente hubiera evolucionado como si fuera la teoría de Charles Darwin o algo así, pero que se aplicaba a la ropa. Tengo que decir que me ame las capas de esta colección y me enamoré del abrigo de encaje negro y el bodysuit a juego están PERFECTOS !!!! Lanvin es Lanvin, y me encantó la colección que incluye tanto la locura de colores que ha estado dando vueltas, pero también tenía algo de negro en ella. Una vez más PFW es lo que equilibra todo.

Valentino

 

This collection is so Valentino yet it is still every woman that is not going to be on a red carpet. It’s soft and romantic yet you could see normal young women wearing it. I love the sheerness of it, and that evening dress is simply perfection. You could wear this collection to so many events and so many places which is what really makes a collection great, the fact that you can play with it when you are going to wear it and how you are going to wear and how it’s going to make people feel or think about you. I think this collection says that you can be well dressed yet not having to be at a red carpet event and that you can be a romantic and like laces and soft colors, yet be a normal hard working woman. I like the change I see in Valentino I really really do.

Traducciòn: Esta colección es tan Valentino, sin embargo, sigue siendo toda mujer que no va a estar en una alfombra roja. Es suave y romántica, pero puedo ver a mujeres jóvenes y normales comprando la colección también. Me encanta lo transparente de la colección, y ese vestido de noche es simplemente  perfecto. Pueden usar esta colección para tantos eventos y para tantos lugares que es lo que realmente hace una gran colección, el hecho de que puedas jugar con ella, cuando se va a usar y cómo se va a usar y cómo va a hacer que la gente se sienta o piensa acerca de ti. Creo que esta colección dice que ustedes pueden vestir bien sin embargo, no tienen que estar en un evento de alfombra roja y que pueden ser unas románticas y que les pueden gustar los encajes y los colores suaves, sin embargo, ser una mujer normal, que puede trabajar. Realmente me gusta el cambio que veo en Valentino.

Yves Saint Laurent 

 

Certain things about this collection reminded me of Salvatore Ferragamo’s 2011 Fall/Winter collection during MFW. Not an ohhhh YSL copied Salvatore Ferragamo but in an ahhhh it’s so great it reminds me of my favorite collection during MFW. I do love tailored suits on women they just look like they were meant to be in them. It doesn’t give that super hero woman vibe that Salvatore Ferragamo gave off, it gives more of a of a classy lady that can go to the office or maybe go to a social event either or she will look ravishing. She will look professional, but no to serious which is always great. I have to say that my favorite outfit has to be the first pic with black jumpsuit and that cape ughhh it just looks perfect !!!

Traducciòn: Ciertas cosas acerca de esta colección me recordaron  a la colección de Salvatore Ferragamo 2011 Otoño/Invierno en MFW. No es un ohhhh YSL se copio de Salvatore Ferragamo, pero mas bien un ahhhh es tan agradable esta colección que me recuerda a mi colección favorita en MFW. A mi me gustan los trajes a medida para las mujeres se ven como que estuvieran destinadas a estar en ellos. No da la vibra de la mujer súper héroe que Salvatore Ferragamo daba, da más la de una de una señora elegante que puede ir a la oficina o tal vez ir a un evento social pero no importa a donde vaya se va a ver deslumbrante. Se ve profesional, pero no muy seria que es siempre lo mejor. Tengo que decir que mi outfit favorito tiene que ser la primera foto con traje negro y con esa capa negra ughhh se ve perfecto !!!
